Happy Fall! Here in the Mid-West where I now live in an Agri-Community. An Agri-Community is a community of homes built around an organic farm. We get all of our food from our farms Farmers Market on site and is available to you as well.
It is time for the Fall Harvest Festival on October 5th, which starts at Noon. Great fresh Fall veggies, fresh eggs, local honey, fresh bread. Homemade soups for you to taste. Face painting, pumpkin painting and hayrides for the kids. Enjoy the beautiful Fall grounds and pond. Meet the sheep, rabbits and goats (Betty and Billie) and the hen house of chickens. We also have 2 very special pet hens you can meet named Goldilocks and Miss Pickles. In last month's newsletter, we focused on kids' health by featuring wellness articles about children's nutrition. For this issue, we're covering brain health with articles on Shaklee's Gentle Sleep Complex and MindWorks, along with an upcoming wellness webinar on how to avoid dementia by maintaining cognitive health.
